Two steps forward. One step back. Andy is back down on the advanced icu floor but he got his permanent grafts today!! I have to say I thought I was ready and prepared for this but I wasnt. I am back to not being able to hold my little warrior. For the next couple of days he is being kept sedated. I understand the reasoning but it doesnt make it easier. As a mother when you see your child crying the first thing you want to so is hold them and it rips your heart out when you cant. Today my sister and I met a very amazing family who is here with 2 family members that are here fighting minute by minute for their lives. My heart is bleeding for them. These people have touched my heart forever. Accidents can happen so fast. Make sure to try and live the life that is full of kindness. I love you all and God bless.
