Two weekends of solid rendering and very little sleep to get this short animation done. PIXEL WORLD is a short animation through a Pixelated 3D World created by three photographs I took during my travels (Argentina, Norway and Australia). The landscape was created and animated in Cinema 4D by using the Hair system (a big thank you to the folks at Grey Scale Gorilla for the tutorial!). The renders took a LONG time and it was very much a compromise between render noise and insane render times. Motion Blur definitely takes a big bite! The exported DPX files were brought After Effects and Premier were they were graded and edited.
