Two years ago during Labour Weekend with a visit from KA 942. The first evening on 17 October was the Southern Sojourn hauled by DXC 5270 as a replacement for KA 942 due to a break down but KA 942 finally arrived in Dunedin on 19 October being towed down on a freight train. The next day on 20 October Ka 942 haul a number of Harbourview excursions from Dunedin to Sawyers Bay and return on the Otago Harbour and on 21 October haul the Southlander from Dunedin to Invercargill and return and on 22 October finally hauling the Southern Sojourn back north and the Ocean Beach Railway Dunedin Kerr stuart in her old colour scheme plus the motor jiggers
