Two years ago on 9/30/12, a 6 foot, 200 pound armed policeman named Lt. Ray Rice- I mean Jonathan Josey- viciously punched a small innocent unarmed woman named Aida Guzman in the face, brutally knocking her to the ground and causing blood to gush from her nose and mouth. He then handcuffed her and charged her with a crime. When Mayor Street saw this video, he said he was sickened and ashamed. When Commissioner Ramsey saw it, he fired Josey. When DA Seth Williams saw it, he charged Josey with assault (and withdrew all charges against Guzman). But when Judge Patrick Dugan saw it, he incredibly found Josey not guilty, which led to Josey getting his job, his badge, and his gun back. We must never forget or forgive what this cowardly bully Josey did. Thats why I started the Name & Shame initiative as part of my F(ilm) The Police! committee. Its designed to publicly embarrass police bullies at least once a month outside their police districts with large poster-sized photos of those cowards. For more info, call and join. 215-552-8785. Aida and all women are my sister, my daughter, my mother, my aunt, and my niece. Shes yours, too. So do something, goddammit!
