Two years ago today, mom had open heart surgery (she had a choice - have her aortic valve replaced or die a slow death). It was a tough road, but she "slew that giant" and enjoys her life to the fullest. There are people who spend their time "being old" or talking about "when they die." My mom has experienced some difficult hardships in her life but she has chose to LIVE her life with joy and to not go to her funeral til the day of her funeral. Thank you, Jesus for blessing me with such a Godly example. BTW: She mowed 4 acres of grass this week and went to a luncheon today!
