Two years on. Really??? It’s as raw as yesterday!!! 730 days….they feel like seconds. That bastard wrecked so much in so few minutes. My families beating heart….stopped. The horror of the sickening, brutal, fatal attack turned our stomachs then…..and the bile still rises daily. I have to watch my beautiful wife Adele Jarvis attempt, on a daily basis, to deal with the fact that her baby was ripped from life so suddenly, without warning. Then reconcile the fact that at least four so called human beings were involved in the premeditated ending. I have to watch her beautiful sister Gemma Smithy Jarvis torment herself, day in day out, and can do nothing to console her. I’m supposed to be the dad, the man, the go to…he’ll sort it!! I’m fu**ed….I can’t do anything to change anything or put it right!! Previously, I could attempt to throw money at things, shout, rant, stamp my feet, be the hard man……..boogaloo…….it amounts to nothing!!! People gather around, family and friends, they mean well, we know it and are thankful for their love and unerring support. But the day ends, they go home, get on with their own lives….they have to, we know it, we appreciate their support….and always will. We continue to exist, not live, exist. We’re here for each other, Mum, Dad, Sibling….always will be, forever. She could be a royal pain in the arse, we all know it, and so does anyone who knew her. BUT…everyone who had the privilege to know her knew just how honest, loyal. loving and true she was. Step out of line, or fall foul of her beliefs of what was wrong and right…..you knew it!!! and that included everyone, Mum, Dad, Sis…..et al. Two years on, every day for us is sheer agony without our beautiful Natalie. There is a light that never goes out!! R.I.P Natalie Jarvis
