TxDOT to Close Northbound U.S. 75 Frontage Road underneath Eldorado Pkwy. To allow construction to continue, TxDOT plans to close the northbound U.S. 75 frontage road underneath Eldorado Pkwy. for several months beginning on Monday, June 30. It is scheduled to re-open in fall 2014. The detour route will be through a temporary traffic signal that TxDOT has installed near Wendy’s and Ghengis Grill on Eldorado Pkwy. All northbound frontage road traffic will be forced up to Eldorado Pkwy. through this temporary signal. To continue northbound, drivers can then use the newly completed ramp from Eldorado Pkwy. back down to the frontage road past American National Bank and Discount Tire. The high volume of traffic expected at this temporary signal will at times make travel through this area very difficult. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
