Typhoon is looking for a great home! Adoption fee applies Age: 11 months Breed: Miniature Australian Shepherd (known history and parentage) Size: 16 - 17 Ty was pulled from a shelter when his previous owner couldn’t cope with his deafness. He has spent 5 months with a professional trainer and is now ready for his new permanent home! Ty comes with the following benefits: • He will never be afraid of thunder or other loud noises! • He LOVES kids, LOVES dogs, LOVES strangers, LOVES attention, LOVES playing ball/disc/agility • He enjoys sleeping in, in the morning • He knows plenty of sign language to communicate with you, and checks in with you frequently in case you have anything to say. • He is ‘Force Free’ trained and LOVES to offer you appropriate behaviours • He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, and obedience trained (kennel, sit, down, stay, touch, leave it, heel, fetch, as well as a bunch of fun tricks) He comes with the following vices: • When you leave the house he barks for approximately 10 seconds, he also does this when he gets in the car. He then settles. Typhoon is a fabulous dog and has started agility training (has everything except for independent weave poles) and is almost trained in flyball (he still requires a ball grab from the box and passing at the line – if you’re interested in that kind of thing). He’s a medium energy dog, but can really turn it on if you want to play, or he can sit and cuddle – he loves the cuddling. Despite being deaf he doesn’t startle at anything, and has done really well at doggy day care. He is very socially appropriate with people and other dogs. I would love to keep him but I have another dog with special needs coming into my care that needs my attention. Typhoon is no longer special needs, he’s an awesome dog needing a home.
