Typical WRAL today condensed.... Temperatures plummeted today as a strange phenomenon called winter gripped he nation in the icy talons of something called cold. The harsh conditions made a suffering populace go to extremes in a desperate attempt to stay alive. Drastic measures were taken such as pulling out blankets and turning on the heat. Electricity was used. Gas was even used! Heating companies actually had to like... fix heaters! What is this strange thing called cold and why is it happening now, in the winter? Three of our reporters were hospitalized for anxiety attacks when the word snow was whispered and two cameramen were injured by hyperventelating anchormen rushing to be filmed talking about the extreme conditions surrounding this unfathomable freak weather condition called cold.
