Typically, I have a positive It aint over til its over attitude. At times, this optimism has felt somewhat irrational. Last night, I was watching football and rooting for my UCF Knights. After ECU scored 21 unanswered points and made several key stops on defense, the Pirates got the ball back with 90 seconds left and all the momentum. I uncharacteristically turned off the TV out of disgust and frustration, figuring I wouldnt miss anything but a few safe running plays, a little victory formation and some commentary about how badly UCF choked. Instead, I missed my alma matter score on an instant classic, last second, game and conference championship winning Hail Mary. The players didnt give up hope before the clock expired. I sure regret that I did. Lesson learned. #ChargeOn
