Tyrone Hospital Donate Blood! The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive in the classroom at Tyrone Hospital on Wednesday August 7th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The blood drive is being co – sponsored by the Tyrone Area High School (TAHS) Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). Students who participate in HOSA are those who plan to pursue a health care career. If 30 productive pints of blood are collected at the August 7th blood drive, an award of $250 will be given to the TAHS HOSA program by the American Red Cross. ... Donate blood and you help save a life. Plus, you will be supporting students at our local school district who will be the next generation of healthcare professionals.
