U.S. Army Faces of the Force at Work: U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command Balancing Resources to Support Soldier Needs and Command’s Mission In his 34 years of Army service, Bruce Trimble has had a hand in some interesting work. He supported work leading to the stand-up of Army Contracting Agency, including the resource alignment and world-wide asset coordination to effectively establish the new organization. Among his more memorable milestones? “The transfer of authorizations Army-wide to ACA within a specific time-line that HQDA said could not be done,” he said. Trimble, who has been a member of the Army Acquisition Corps since 1990, has also supported the stand-up of the Army Contracting Command and its two subordinate commands: the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) and the Expeditionary Contracting Command. He currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff Resource Management for MICC at Fort Sam Houston, ensuring that there’s a balance of resources command-wide that meets the needs of Soldiers and Civilians supporting the command’s mission and vision.
