U.S., Russia and Iraq in Pincer Attack on Saudi Terror Links The Russian FSB, the Iraqi intelligence services, and U.S. intelligence have all developed detailed evidence that Saudi Arabia has been behind the recent wave of terrorism in Russia, Iraq, and Syria. According to a senior U.S. intelligence official, there were recent reports in Irans Fars News Agency that Russian FSB officials have provided President Vladimir Putin with hard evidence of Saudi sponsorship of the twin Volgograd bombings at the beginning of the year, which killed 32 and injured over 100. According to the news accounts, the FSB document identified one of the suicide bombers as Pavel Pechyonkin, a Russian native who spent the last year fighting with Syrian rebels in groups funded by Saudi Arabia. The Jan. 11 news account of the Volgograd bombers and their Saudi connections was followed on Jan. 14 by a report in Tehran Times, on a briefing book provided to foreign diplomats in Baghdad by Iraqs Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, also detailing Saudi funding and other support for the Al Qaeda terrorists behind the wave of asymmetric warfare in Anbad governate near the Syrian border. The U.S. official confirmed that both the Russian and Iraqi reports are accurate, adding that U.S. intelligence has photographic and biographic evidence that retired Saudi military officers are working on the ground with hardcore Al Qaeda groups inside the Syrian insurgency, including both the Al Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The source emphasized that during this weeks Geneva meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Kerry, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and UN Special Envoy Brahimi, the issue of counter-terrorism cooperation around the Jan. 22 Geneva II conference was a top priority. In addition, the source reported that U.S. Pentagon and FBI teams are already on the ground in Russia to work with their Russian counterparts on security in advance of the Sochi Winter Olympics. The triple-front attack on Saudi sponsorship of the wave of asymmetric warfare targeting the region and posing a threat of regional or global conflict, has also put a spotlight on the British collusion. The FARS report on the FSB document quoted an unnamed FSB official as saying, The FSB has presented some documents to President Putin which show the multi-layer internet connection lines as well as the recruits and hirelings of the group in Britain, the UAE, Lebanon and Turkey. larouchepac/node/29503
