U know its been since October 30 since the Rosepine fireman resign from their duty of being protecters of Our community.To stand up for ourselves against the Vernon parish fire board.which one of them we put in to the office.We thought he would help us out. But wow was we ever wrong on that thought. We thought he would stand behind us and help us get the proper equipment to do our job. Because as tax payers like our selves we didnt see no reason why we couldnt get proper equipment in our stations to bring our fire insurance down. But after two and half months they have not tried to contact us to work out the problem. Instead they replace us with fireman that live above hwy ten. Not taken nothing from them men they are darn good at wat they do.they have been with us fighting fires right beside us for along time. The thing is its taking to long for the fire department to respond to calls. Its killing my sole that Im not able to do want I love doing and doing wat my neighbors have depended on us to do wat we have been doing for along time Protecting them. As bad as I want to go back I cant until they are ready to sit down and figure out a solution to the problem. Or they resign and lets get someone there to do the job right way.
