U14s travelled the 150km round trip to take on the top of the table Ellenbrook today. Our girls pushed Ellenbrook all the way and despite going down 3:0 they had to fight to win and our girls earned respect from everyone watching for their teamwork and tough defensive effort. We had long periods of the game where controlled the ball and we were able to create some good chances but just couldnt quite find the back of the net. Danica got the award today for her tireless efforts at left back. She did some fantastic tackles and showed enormous courage under pressure. Awesome effort girls!
