Okay here I am in Grand Bay Alabama, my home of choice. I have been here for 9 years and never want to live anywhere else. Often I am asked if I miss my home town of Las Vegas. Certainly, however that great little town I grew up in disappeared long ago. I remember seeing a sign on Paradise road between Tropicana and Sahara in the 60s. It said Leaving Paradise town entering Winchester town Clark County Population 250,000. The current Las Vegas Metro area population is over 2 million. in the next 20 years it is expected to continue to increase as much as 60%. Thanks but I really dont want to live in Los Angeles East. I love my little slice of heaven right here on the Gulf. For comparison here are a couple of pictures of traffic. First Las Vegas - note this section is 14 lanes. Second the traffic I experience here in Grand Bay 2 lanes and a 4 way stop. I will always treasure my youth and the town I grew up in, I will always remember that town fondly even if it no longer exists. Oh one more thing, HEY KIDS GET OFF MY LAWN!!!
