UDF is leading in 12 seats in #Kerala, while the LDF is ahead in six seats, when reports last came in. Two LDF supported Independent candidates are also leading. In #Malappuram, Union Minister of State for External Affairs, E Ahmed of the IUML has established a lead of over 1,72,000 votes against PK Sainaba of the CPI-M. In the nine seats in the Malabar region of the state, the CPIM led LDF is leading in four -- Kasargod, Kannur, Palakkad and Alathur. In Vadakara Parliamentary constituency, the Congress led UDF candidate Mullappally Ramachandran is leading by over 2000 votes. In central Kerala, UDF is leading in four out of the seven seats. Prof K V Thomas in Ernakulam and Jose K Mani in Kottayam are leading by over 65,000 votes. Union Ministers K C Venugopal in Alappuzha and Kodikkunnel Suresh in Mavelikkara constituency, are also ahead of their nearest rivals. In the four seats in southern #Kerala, the UDF is ahead in three seats. In Thiruvananthapuram, union minister Sasi Tharoor is leading by about by a thin margin , while in Kollam, N.K.
