#UNBELIEVABLE -#THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN TO YOU her mother had called me and begged that i shud search for a room for her son who was to arrive ydaounde in a weeks time for the university. i found a room, 10.000Frs a month and told her, and she said her son will bring the money. Sunday morning, my phone rang and it was the boy, he was at the park, Amour MEZAM. I told him to wait for me since he needed assistance and he had never been to Yaonde before. When i arrived at the Park, i was shocked when i saw what the boy was carrying among his luggage- items like: - #a small bag of salt - #a large bag with sweet potatoes - #A charcoal Pot - #two large bags of charcoal - #a Charcoal Iron - #three large pots blackened with soot...etc etc I felt so embarrassed since i had to help him and people stood watching us carry the things, and i felt like i was transporting the luggage of an old woman moving house... the worst thing is that some pieces of charcoal were dropping from the charcoal bags, and the pots were only tied together and not covered. as i was very clean and well dressed, i felt more awkward since i did not blend in and soon my dresses were ruined as i was transporting the bags to a taxi..Some girls were whispering among themselcves and giggling when they saw us and one boy said that, some people dem di miss their village, na why that them di carry souvenir...Oh, and that was September 2014...God Forgive me... IF NA YOU FOR MA PLACE, WETIN U FOR DO??
