UNC supporters did not place the present government in power and in 2015 or whenever the opportunity presents itself, those same persons who trusted the “People’s Partnership”, will be joined by new voters to ensure their exit. We have had smooth government transitions in the past but if the Cabal continues with its divisive agenda, regardless of the outcome, we may experience serious civil unrest in this once tranquil and beautiful country of Trinidad and Tobago. Many persons and groups have come to the fore either in support or rejection of the contentious run-off section of the constitution amendment bill, in any other jurisdiction a number of things would never have occurred. 1. Prakash Ramadhar, leader of the COP and Member of Parliament should not have been allowed to chair the Constitution Reform Commission. Prakash had been endorsed by no other than the infamous Sat Maraj to lead the COP, an individual known for alleged divisive comments regarding Africans and persons of Mixed Race in this country. Did he not call M.P. Patricia Mc Intosh racist during Parliament when she sought to defend Sita Gajadarsingh-Nanga, the Tunapuna Hindu School Principal, amid persecution faced because she had allegedly exposed racism against Africans at the tax-payer funded Hindu school? What sort of impartiality and fairness could Prakash have ever brought to that proverbial table or any forum seeking the common interest of voters? 2. In the Executive Summary of the Report of the Trinidad and Tobago Constitution Reform Commission published in newsprint on December 27, 2013, under the heading “General Elections” it states: “The House of Representatives should continue to be elected as it has been since Independence-voters in each geographical constituency electing a representative by the first-past-the-post method.” This is what had been published on the date highlighted. There was never discussion on a run-off during these public consultations. Questions: • Why are we even discussing this? • Who is duty bound & responsible to the public to uphold the findings? Isn’t this the duty of government, and in absence, aren’t independent senators bound by the ethics and integrity of it all to support the will of the people? • And who defends the citizenry from dictatorship practicing deviance and indecency in efforts to hold on to power? The UNC-led (farce of a PP) government has been accused of corruption at all levels. Scandals after scandal corrupt the minds of the young and desensitize the population to criminal activity at all strata of society and threaten our serenity. The populace has been traumatized without even knowing it. The Government Information Services is a propaganda tool. Citizens have been abused. Persad-Bissessar came to the public claiming that all citizens would’ve been treated equally regardless of ethnicity, geography and religious belief, that none would lose jobs because of politics and that their concerns addressed. None of the above happened. By openly supporting the views of persons who have for decades preached against racial unity, she has in fact, been serving a wicked agenda. The evidence of marginalization, victimization and division is apparent as an “in-your-face, don’t give a damn about the rest of you” mentality, is bold-facedly practiced by a government which has spat in the faces of all non-supporters and have even been using our nation’s wealth, wealth that belongs to all of us, against us! Land is being given away through the regularization of squatting to illegal immigrants in an apparent voter padding scheme, some even within busy communities behind established residences. It is alleged that an Airport in central will be used for illegal activity if not properly monitored and also for the importation of illegal immigrants seeking their “promised land”. While the treasury is being raped, ethnic stocking continues and many state-sponsored programs are being investigated by the police; who incidentally, seem to tread carefully whenever there is any issue relating to this mafia-style run organization posing as the “legitimate” government of Trinidad and Tobago. Apparently, the UNC is depending on the Defense Force and the Police ( Dogs of war & Sat Maraj’s personal army) to defend them from the justifiable wrath of citizens. I often wondered how people could be racist, saying nothing as those whom they worked and limed with for years suffer, but then when work and school is over, some religious leaders demand an exceptional devotion to division and inequality, preaching the superiority of one race and religion over others…where are the teachings of love & justice for all men? Only monsters can sleep peacefully and say nothing, knowing damn well the suffering that their leaders have brought upon others, persons who have never been evil to them. And as citizens continue to suffer at the hand of the UNC… The head of the “down-town owners and merchants association” in Port of Spain has for the past 3 Christmases blamed parking and illegal vending for low sales, hiding or avoiding the fact that because so many had been fired since May 2010, from Carenage to Toco…giving special mention to Diego Martin, Port of Spain and environs, that sales fell…. But politics and big-business both have the ability to bring out the very best and worst in people and the UNC demands nothing less than a pound of flesh closest to DOMA’s heart…probably hoping that they get fed-up and move out so that they themselves can move in… It is a fact that citizens living along the corridor have made businessmen in town wealthy by purchasing everything from clothing and school items during the year… to curtains, appliances, jewelry, gifts and grocery items at Christmastime. These are the persons that kept the engine of commerce revving for decades in the capital city, but since May 2010, through marginalization and discrimination, almost everything has come to a halt and to add insult to injury, there is a wicked plan of decentralization taking place that would further suffer communities to the north, engineered to further divide and discriminate! In view of this, it is appalling that UNC supporters feel quite comfortable knowing damn-well what their representatives are doing to others, still demanding civility and tolerance from the suffering… those unable to support families, pay bills and live a comfortable life in this wealthy country of ours; the same “PNM people” who patronized their businesses for decades. The police, minister of national security and many others in the “protective services” secure the government’s agenda and interests and dutifully tell citizens to abide by the law, protest silently, temper anger, don’t beat drums, etc… instructions in the face of tyranny and victimization….and while some say that politics has a morality of its own, I say that justice for the disenfranchised, the abused and the marginalized is a must. No matter what comes our way, we will prevail. The “Dogs of War” as their master calls them, must understand that they are being instructed by the most corrupt and racist regime that this hemisphere has ever seen. The “dogs” must remember, as a citizen on tv6 put it…that: “The Police and Soldiers must realize that we protest and fight against the evils that is being imposed on their Mothers, Sisters, Brothers, Cousins, Wives and Husbands, they themselves should join in and support.” To add, I say to comrades (not to dogs) in the Defense Force and the Police service that: “People who demand 50% inclusion based on race ie. Police, Defense Force, Public Service etc… are not working toward national unity… and will in reality, be only comfortable and satisfied with 100% of everything!” It’s just a matter of TIME!
