UNDERSTANDING JESUS CHRIST AS THE SECOND ADAM Many have confused the role and identity of the Messiah Jesus Christ MATTHEW 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. Even today there are those who think he is Melchizadok or God in the flesh. Still there are those who believe he was the Passover Lamb and a sacrifice for personal sins. HOWEVER THE PASSOVER LAMB WAS NOT A SIN OFFERING. THE PASSOVER LAMB WAS A SIGN OF DISTINCTION IN PROTECTING THE INNOCENT FROM THE ANGEL OF DEATH AND THE DEATH DECREE THAT WAS DIRECTED AT THE EGYPTIANS. IF WE WANT TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST THEN WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND HIM IN HIS TRUE ROLE AS THE SECOND ADAM, THE GARDENER AND A PRIEST IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZADOK. Both the Quran and the Bible acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Second Adam. In fact the Holy Quran mentions the names Jesus(isa) and Adam 25 times each in order to emphasize the connection between the first and second Adam. THE SON OF GOD AND THE FIRST AND SECOND ADAM Jesus and Adam were both brought into existence through the direct manifestations of the Holy Spirit or Breath of Life as it is also known and not by the seed of men. GENESIS 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. MATTHEW 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. In this regard both Jesus and Adam were both metaphorically referred to as being the Son of God meaning that they were both directly brought into existence through the Holy Spirit: Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the Son of God. Luke 1:34-35 And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. ...THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL COME UPON YOU AND THE POWER OF THE MOST HIGH WILL OVERSHADOW YOU THEREFORE THE CHILD TO BE BORN WILL BE CALLED THE SON OF GOD. Jesus is called The Son of God because like the First Adam he was brought into existence directly through the Holy Spirit. This is further reinforced by the fact that all those who are led by the Holy Spirit are called the SONS OF GOD: ROMANS 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the Sons of God. THE TREE OF DEATH AND THE DEAD TREE TESTING THE FIRST AND SECOND ADAM The First Adam was defeated at the Tree of Death, while the Second Adam defeated the Dead Tree which was the wooden cross: GENESIS 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. GALATIANS 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: By surviving crucifixion as foretold through the Sign of Jonah, Jesus Christ defeated the curse of the Dead Tree which is the curse and fallen state of the First Adam. THE DEAD TREE AND THE TREE OF DEATH WERE BOTH IN THE GARDEN : The First Adam was defeated by a Tree that was located in the GARDEN GENESIS 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the GARDEN, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. The Second Adam defeated the curse of the Dead Tree being the wooden cross which was located in a GARDEN JOHN 19:41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a GARDEN When Mary Magdalene found Jesus Christ alive she saw him as the Second Adam being the GARDENER: JOHN 20:11-18 When she had thus said, she turned herself back, and beholdeth Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the GARDENER saith unto him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Therefore by surviving the cross and defeating the curse of the DEAD TREE, Jesus Christ became the Gardener being the one who leads his children back into the Garden of Paradise(Jannah) and to the Tree of Life which is Melchizadok known to Muslims as Al-Khidr meaning the Green one who restores the Garden. The Prophet Muhammad once stated that Al-Khidyr sat on barren land and it immediately became Green with vegetation.
