UNDERSTANDING THE OUTWORKING OF DIVINE GRAC E. When God speaks to a man, that word comes with the grace of God on it. And whosoever receives that word received it with same level of grace with which it came. What is grace? Grace is a special favour of God upon a believer for a particular purpose. Grace is Christ at work in us causing us to will and to do what God wants us to do. Grace is the glory of God is your life. The grace of God upon a man is that special endowment of favour that makes the man who he is. Every believer has a measure of grace. Grace can increase and multiply. How to walk in increase Grace 1. Crave after the knowledge of God’s word 2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, (KJV) 2. By receiving a special commissioning from God for a particular assignment. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:16-18 KJV) 3. Desire the will of God at all cost. Eph 6:6 not with eye service, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 1Jo 2:17 and the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (KJV) 4. By going to God in prayer. Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (KJV) 5. Be followers of those who are fathers of faith. Heb 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.(KJV)
