UNSW Decides has been sent Voice and Activate flyers by a disgruntled student with the comment attached clean up yo shit V&A, your paper is littered all over campus. Interestingly both tickets claim to have established crisis accommodation, though as weve previously reported it was an initiative started and primarily worked on by Voice candidate and current Queer Officer Dylan Lloyd with direction from the Queer Collective, so it is perhaps more honest for Voice to be making this claim. Then theres consistently fought against higher education cuts -vs- prevented fee increases. While the consistency of Voice candidates involvement in the fight can be discussed and debated, were pretty sure theres no legitimacy to the claim that fee increases have been prevented, that battle is ongoing. In terms of policy theres a lot of similarity, there does seem to be some disagreement with textbooks with Voice pushing for the establishment of a textbook exchange fair and book bank, while Activate are pushing for textbooks to be free and online. What policies are important to you? Are you a fan of free and online or exchange fair & book bank? Whats the deal with crisis accommodation? Send us your opinions and thoughts!
