UPDATE: A MAGISTRATE has refused bail for a man accused of a brutal bashing after reading police documents that state the victim is “unlikely to survive”. Nathan Sanchez, 23, is accused of severely bashing a 27-year-old man in a neighbourhood dispute on Margaret Street yesterday. His charges are likely to be upgraded from grievous bodily harm and he has been remanded until his next court appearance on Friday (September 19.)
