UPDATE FROM BANGKOK ON CRAIG – THURSDAY 8 JANUARY We finally have some good news to report. Craig has now regained movement in his hands and arms and he is starting to be able to feel his feet again. He was also taken off of the ventilator today. This is extremely encouraging news and we are keeping our fingers crossed that tomorrow he will show more signs of the treatment working. Doctors have advised that after an initial burst of recovery, Craig may start to feel unwell again and require more treatment, this is an unfortunate complication of GBS. We are therefore doing all we can to find a feasible to way to Craig home ASAP so any further treatment would be carried out in the UK. Getting Craig home will require a medically equipped aeroplane which comes at a very high cost. We are paying a large bill of £20,000 tomorrow to the hospital for this week’s treatment, and are trying to find the funds to cover the flight home for him. We still need as much support from the public as possible. Your donations are going towards Craig’s hospital bills and his flight to get him back to the UK. Please keep digging deep.
