UPDATE: Just got done with our doctors appointment. They are real excited about his progress. They feel if all goes well, he may be able to go home the end of next week. Apparently he has a little bit of a collapsed lung- fluid (minimal) but as long as he performs his breathing exercises he should be alright. The steroids have been decreased- but three weeks for the entire process is a first for transplant patients. They said we could finish the recovery process, labs, PT, etc., at home.
