UPDATE ON CRICKET: Its been a week sinc she was trapped & absolutely terrified! I am sooo happy to say that she has made huge steps from the feral life! I left her alone first couple days to get settled in, used to surroundings, & to get some much needed rest & relaxation! Day 3, I used mild tranqualizer in wet catfood to pick ticks out of ears & irrigate/treat left ear infection, put flea meds on, wormed, put collar on...Day 4 I put leash on and bathed with dawn & pine oil mixture, because flea drops werent touching fleas! Day 5 put leash on and played tug & flip til she came up off pressure on leash, then slowly rub & tell her good girl! Day 6 rubbed & applied leash, again! Day 7 got out of pen with leash for a few minutes, only after making dang sure collar was good & snug...Day 8 (today)- met me at gate with tail-a-wagging eager for leash & walk outside pen! She enjoys socializing with other rescues, smelled a bunch of butts and had hers smelled in return, lol! I kneeled down and called her & she came to me for first time! Here are some pics of this GORGEOUS GIRL!! If u would like to donate to my animals the PayPal link is at dede.bridges@yahoo and my vet is Katie Meadows at 225-222-6714, Thank you in advance!!
