UPDATE ON LASER USE BY RDHS and TSBDE: Today the TSBDE voted to reject the laser task force committee’s recommendation to rescind our rights to use lasers for non-surgical bacterial elimination. We are grateful to the board for listening to the research based testimony to allow us to provide quality care for our patients. HOWEVER, THIS ISSUE IS NOT OVER YET! It has been sent to the Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee (DHAC) for further review, and we will keep you updated on further developments.
