UPDATE ON MY DAD... As most of you know, on September 6th my father had his bladder and prostrate removed in order to remove a fast growing tumor and cancer cells. I am happy to say that he is finally getting his strength back from the surgery and getting out of the house a little. However, during his surgery, they took tissue biopsies and found that the cancer had spread into his pelvis. After meeting with his surgeon and chemo doctor this week, they have determined that there are no more options for him - no further radiation or chemotherapy – which could get rid of his cancer. The only thing they can do is continue to monitor the cancer with quarterly MRI’s in order to evaluate his condition. I just wanted to let everyone know and ask that you keep us in your prayers and thoughts as this may be a long, or a short, road ahead. Thank you.
