UPDATE ON SALT REDUCTION BY THE HEART & STROKE FOUNDATION AND SALT WATCH (30 July, Cape Town) The Cape Branch Committee of the South African Assoc for Food Science & Technology (SAAFoST) is hosting Erika Ketterer, the science and programme development manager at the Heart & Stroke Foundation of SA, who will be discussing salt intake in SA; salt reduction initiatives, including the launch of Salt Watch SA; as well as the impacts of salt regulations on the food industry. VENUE: Swift Silliker, 7 Warrington Road, Claremont TIME: 6 for 6.30pm to 8pm COST: Free for SAAFoST members and R100 (incl VAT) for non-SAAFoST members. Snacks and drinks will be served.
