UPDATE: Remember the story posted here a couple of days ago about an elderly black lab who walked 30 miles to return to her family in Kansas, just to be rejected and abruptly sent to the shelter? Well, check out this HAPPY ENDING! Listen to the story of Lady, a black lab who walked 30 miles to find her family...Only to be rejected. Dont worry - it has a happy ending! After Lady’s original owner died in 2012, she was adopted by a Kansas family. But they gave her up soon afterward, when they got a small young dog, with too much energy for this old Lady to handle. Then Lady was adopted again, by a different family...30 miles away. But she escaped from their home and walked the 30 miles back to the family that gave her up. That family still didnt want Lady - so back to the shelter she went. Well, her story started going viral - and a woman named Helen Rosburg heard about Lady. Mrs. Rosburg just so happens to be the heir to the Wrigley chewing gum fortune. She decided to adopt Lady - and just yesterday sent a private jet to pick her up. This picture shows Lady being whisked to her new home in style. Now lady will live out her final years in the lap of luxury in Rosburg’s 11,000-square-foot, three-story house in Florida. See, I told you it had a happy ending! :) God speed, old girl! We love you, Lady!
