**UPDATE TO BANK ROBBERY @ Bank of America @ 728 Massabesic Street** MPD closed down several streets in the area going door-to-door looking for suspect. Officials are under the assumption that the robber is still in the area. The Hallsville Elementary School was in lockdown. We will keep you up to date on the situation. Police are asking the public to avoid the areas surrounding Valley and Jewett Streets. Robbery happened this am. Suspect is described as male, about 58 to 600 tall, 140-160 pounds, wearing all black, including black mask and carrying black backpack. Believed to be armed with a knife.
