UPDATE TO TRAFFIC ALERT: The northbound lanes of IH 610 West Loop including the direct connector to US 59 Southwest Freeway remain closed as crews work to work to upright the truck and clear the scene. Crews are also staged to repair the crash cushion that serves as a safety buffer on freeways and replace several signs that were damaged by the 18-wheeler. The northbound closures are expected to remain in place for at least a few more hours and will likely extend into the evening rush hour.
