UPDATE: Thank you ALL so much for your calls, texts, messages, prayers, and well-wishes -- your genuine love & support was felt all day! After waiting all day for approval from our insurance to see the specialist, we were able to get a last-minute appointment to get some answers. Jonathan was experiencing waves of intense testicular pain yesterday evening (it has actually been coming & going over the past month). He was diagnosed with testicular torsion, and after his sonograms, they found a cyst/mass on his left testicle. His pain has subsided and everything has returned to normal for the time being, so the specialist would like to hold off on surgery for now. Although we are not completely in the clear, we will do some close observations -- which will also give us time to process and prepare. The cyst/mass is on the outside of his testicle, which usually indicates a benign growth, and the doctor does not feel like we need to jump into emergency surgery. I am exhausted, relieved, and grateful. We have been flooded with love, and I cannot express the depth of my gratitude. Please continue to keep Jonathan and his health in your prayers! (Mark 11:24)
