**UPDATE** *The Tara D. Stork family is still at Comfort Inn in Rocky Mount. We are waiting to hear back today on rental application that was submitted. Please cover them in prayers that we can get them into apartment. The needs for them right now are still the same. We need help w/ food & hotel expense. Once we obtain apartment we will need everything...furniture & household items and some men & women from the community to help get them moved and set up in home:-) *The grandmother Donna Brubaker is still at Comfort Inn also w/ her 2 grandchildren. We are working on getting her electric turned back on....apparantly there was some confusion on what was paid and what was still owed. The needs for this family are still the same right now....They need help w/ hotel expense and food. *The Jannice Walker family is still at Sleep Inn in Roanoke. We had a really good lead on a home yesterday but that didnt work out. If anyone knows of a home to rent in Roanoke area around 800-900 please let us know. We have 4 little ones that are supposed to be starting school and the pressure is on to get them into home before that time:-) The needs for this family are still the same as well...They need food and help covering hotel expense. *We also have a new homeless family that is staying with friends of mine right now in Franklin County. Its mom, dad and 3 yr old little girl. The only thing I know I need right now for them is some food. Im getting them in w/ Social Services to get some help & I will post needs for them later. Dad has really good job in Roanoke and it wont take them long to get back on feet we just have to give them a little help to get there:-)! *Great news on the single mom and little boy!!! We have them going into apartment next week and things are looking up for them:-)!! I will post needs for them as soon as I know:-)!!! **Just so you guys know what Im facing today......I have NO food left in the car to give out to any of these families at all. I really need help w/ food. I have a few real estate appts today and then I can collect if anyone can help out that would be great:-)! Thanks guys & love ya all!! P.S. Also will need someone to make & pass out sandwiches & bottled water next week in downtown Roanoke. P.S.S. The big thing today is...Im stepping over into something Ive never done before & I will be going in front of a judge today in private meeting to ask for some help w/ one of these families. I feel like Im flying by the seat of my pants on this one lol. No smart comments please lol.....NEED PRAYERS!!
