UPDATE: The York County Sheriffs Department has arrested Christopher Stevens, 57, of Limington in the hit-and-run accident Friday night of Chelsey Jackson, 16, also of Limington. Police say Stevens was the driver of the truck that struck Jackson on Route 11 who turned himself in after seeing media coverage of the accident. Jackson suffered two broken legs, damaged to her left elbow and collarbone and underwent leg surgery this morning at Maine Medical Center. Stevens was arrested for leaving the scene of a personal injury vehicle crash and failure to report a motor vehicle crash by the quickest means. He is being held in the York County Jail o $500 bail.
