UPDATE Unfortunately it is not good news. This is the email we received from the owner. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this note tonight . Dr. Riegel has told us that Buttons has took a turn for the worse and her diagnosis is very bad. Not only her foot problem ,but her uterus infection, and stomach cancer has made her not eat , go to the bathroom or function at this point. He has told us at this point the only humane thing to do is to put her down. I want to thank you for all you do and have done for Buttons. As a family we appreciate all that you do with all the urgency and care that you can put forth. I know and realize it is not an easy job. The pain of loosing my best friend is the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. But in my heart of hearts I believe Dr. Riegel and his staff did their best for my Buttons. I can not tell you the pain I am in right now. I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest . I know I will never be the same . She has touched my very core with her love , friendship and loyalty. She will forever be my brave loving girl . Every time I see a Button, a rainbow , or a smile I will think of her always. Thank you for all of the great work you do . It is greatly appreciated more than you know. May God Bless you always! Karen and Jack Funds are still needed for Buttons care at the vets.
