(UPDATE) Went to the spine doctor today. Definitely have two bulging disc. We are going to do all of the required injections first in my back. If that doesnt work then they have to operate on both disc. The lower disc is not that big of a problem and is a rather easier surgery and recovery time. The upper disc towards the middle of my back will be a much more intense surgery. They will have to cut two maybe three ribs out, move one of my lungs to the side, then pull the disc out and replace it with an artificial disc. After this they put my lung back in place then fuse my ribs back to my rib cage. The doctor said normally for most people this is a 4-6 month recovery time. He said being a diabetic I will be looking at 8-12 month recovery time. I am hoping and praying that the injections work and I dont have to have these surgeries. I hate to ask for anything but I am going to ask that people pray for me that the injections work to avoid surgery. This really has me down right now. My wife Amanda Lynn is pregnant and I am not much help around the house. I cant do much to help her and I hate that. Thank you all that have been there for me, I appreciate all of you guys. Cheryl Anne you have been great and I thank you... I start physical therapy on my knee this Thursday for 4 weeks. If the physical therapy goes well then I will be on my way to a quick recovery from my knee. If the physical therapy doesnt work, the Orthopedic surgeon will have to do a small surgery on my left knee which only adds more problems to all of this. I feel absolutely helpless right now and it sucks. I am trying really hard to keep my head up and I will continue to do so. Again thank you Facebook friends for all the support, kind words and encouragement, it means a lot.. I will keep you all posted throughout all of this..
