UPDATE for Huntsman Project: MONDAY (3.10.14) •Small greenhouse power washed and clean. Drying. GREAT JOB, TODAY!!!!!! •Pools (moved/folded) and tarps moved from concrete pad outside large/small greenhouses. STILL NEED: b. Clean and prep the Photo Bioreactor (PBR) (Estimated time to complete: 1 to 1.5 hours) c. Hang plastic divider in the greenhouse (creates a greenhouse side and a solar dehydrator side) Divider must be installed (plastic and tape) to create separate areas for project requirements (Estimated time to complete: 1 to 1.5 hours – to be completed after small greenhouse is dry) 2. Starter Cultures and Propagating Media (Already started; needs to continue throughout project – all coordinated through Tim) a. Fill containers with water (Estimated time to complete for both a and b: 1 to 2 hours per day, STARTING 3.7.14) b. Autoclave water TUESDAY (3.11.14) MOVE LARGE, BLACK LINER INTO THE LARGE GREENHOUSE. FIRST THING: If the small greenhouse is still wet, place the large industrial fan at door to continue drying process. 2. Starter Cultures and Propagating Media (Already started; needs to continue throughout project – all coordinated through Tim) a. Fill containers with water (Estimated time to complete for both a and b: 1 to 2 hours per day, STARTING 3.7.14) b. Autoclave water MEDIA, MEDIA, MEDIA! Ready for media to be prepared and autoclaved. Tim has worked all weekend/Monday to get media ready for the tanks. Need 3 - 4 people to prepare media. Meet Tim in Project Lab at 10 AM. Tank placement will be determined based upon (1) delivery from Alan and (2) greenhouse condition (dry? not dry?) 3. Tank placement (Tuesday, March 11th or Wednesday, March 12th – coordinated through Dr. Kainer)
