UPDATE on FUNERAL arrangements: After a lot of deliberation and thought, Nelly and I have come up with what we are certain would please Corinne and at the same time maximise the opportunity for her friends and colleagues to celebrate her life. Firstly and most importantly the funeral service date has been decided. We desperately tried to make it a Saturday but the first available was too far into the future to be reasonable. The service will now take place on Wednesday 2nd April at 11am at St Pauls Catholic Church in Lenton Boulevard in Nottingham. It will last an hour and a half at the most and will be followed by a private cremation. With everyones desire to create something lasting in Corinnes memory, please no flowers or donations at the funeral. I will follow up later regarding a lasting memorial for Corinne to which you will be most welcome to contribute should you wish to. Please let as many people in your network know about the funeral service and it would be immensely helpful if you would register your intention to be present here: doodle/uhckrkukbd65ubnq As you all know Corinne was very much looking forward to her impending 60th birthday and had made advanced plans for a party in Malta on 4th August. In line with her wishes, we are going to keep the spirit of her party alive and use the occasion for three things: a celebration of Corinnes life, an opportunity for people in Malta to join in and also keep alive her wish for the party in Malta. So those of you who have already made bookings, please do not cancel them. As soon as the next two weeks have passed by, I will come back with plans for Malta. With this decision, please note that there will not be any gathering immediately following the funeral next week.
