However, I do understand what youre saying, but let me share with you another perspective. Martin L. King, Jr. was a prophet of his day. He carried the Spirit or the Anointing of Moses. The allusions in his speech point to that reality. What he was operating in was one of the many principles of Divine Love. Jesus said if your enemy was to slap you to turn the other cheek, but the same Jesus tells you to trade your coat for a sword. In other words there is a time for peace and a time for war! Spiritual warfare is constant, its always taking place, because there is never completely peace in the spirit realm, not yet, but there will be. The reason Jesus told his disciples to turn the other cheek is because Rome at the time was much more powerful than the Jews and physical resistance would have only increased the violence and loss of lives, especially for the Jews! For example, if citizens united and took up arms against the government, no matter how noble the cause unless receiving direct instruction from God, the government will absolutely decimate us, period! Dont let anyone fool you, we will not beat this World System by physical means, its suicide! Like Adrienne said in Rocky IV, you cant win! Martin L. King, Jr. understood this and took the non violent approach! He played it perfectly, and liberties that we do enjoy can be accredited to his obedience to God. Nevertheless, I reveal to a mystery. When dealing with a vile and cruel enemy that is greater than you there is another way to fight! Repent! Clean up your life, be the change you want to see, have clean hands. Then send Judah (praise) first. Pronounce judgment then Simeon (heard) follows. Then every tongue that rises up against you in judgment you shall pronounce judgment upon. Let me say it again plainly, turn from any and all sin, praise God because His presence inhabits the praise of the pure. Then pronounce judgment on the oppressor for His oppression and you will be heard. At this point there maybe instruction given from the Most High, so you must learn how to hear, if you allow Him to purify your heart you will hear, and He, Himself, will fight the Enemy that is greater than you. For greater is He that is in you, then he that is in the world. I give you sword! Receive it! Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!!! Be blessed and prosper, Beloved!
