UPDATES! Benson is doing good and catching up on some much needed and peaceful rest! His RBC was low, he has a very painful ear infection in his left ear, he has a bad case of arthritis and on top of it all, he has a UTI! He is being treated and cared for and tonight is resting comfortably with nary a care in the world, bless his heart. Perla is an absolute doll! She has a benign mass on her chest, some dental and skin issues and a nasty case of KC! She is doing good though bless her heart and is such a love! She too is being treated and cared for and is resting comfortably with nary a care in the world! The blood work on Beauty came back showing very, very high and elevated liver counts and her overall blood results were a bit sketchy :-( This poor old lady has so much difficulty getting up and also has a very extended abdomen :-( She also has a tumor on her ear which is suspected to be a mast cell sarcoma :-( So sad that the only humans she ever loved for 14 years failed her when she needed them the most. She is a very sweet dog and is being treated and kept comfortable. We will speak with the Docs tomorrow about how to proceed. As soon as we are sure she is comfortable enough, she will go into hospice foster where she will know only kindness, love and a warm and cozy bed to rest her weary little bones
