UPDATES!!! Sorry for not updating yesterday. Adoption event days are already busy and one of these little sweeties kept me busier than usual! GWEN was all happy & perky the night of her spay (Friday) but by morning, she wasnt eating or playing & had a fever. I ran her by the vet and they thought it was a reaction to one of the vaccines. So shes still feeling a bit rough. Shes eating a few this morning but last night, she got fluids and Nutrical (a vitamin & calorie supplement to keep her sugar levels up). Poor little sweetie. So going to their new home might be delayed by a day or two. But hopefully shell be feeling better soon! GAVIN is running all over the place. He is SO CUTE. Last night, he wanted to play too much with his sister so I had to move him so she could get some rest. He had a ball playing with the other kitties. Not afraid of ANYTHING. He even told our mean cat this morning to back off b/c he got to the food bowl first. Funny little guy. DEVIN has been taking care of Foster Dad after his visit to the ER. We suspect the Devin - Our Perfectly Imperfect Angel is VERY happy to have Dad off work for a few days. We hear that hes not too happy when Dad leaves for work & lets his Dad know when he gets back. So we know hes just eating up all this extra attention. And we all hope Dad is feeling better soon!! MIRA is TOO cute with her little fang teeth that hang out of her mouth. One of our kitties has that too and I think its adorable. She is just the sweetest little love bug ever and is healing up from his surgery very nicely. KAMILLA goes to her new home on December 5th.I will miss this little girl but I am SO happy for her. I know she will have a wonderful life. And her infection in her removed eye is healing up nicely. She should get her stitches out on Monday and be good as new! DOT is helping me vacuum. This little cutie is completely fearless. She had fun at adoptions yesterday. She doesnt mind the chaos at all & turns her little head around all over the place so she can see everything. It was exhausting though and she fought sleep as long as she could but finally passed out in another fosters arms. So sweet! * Also for those who saw the post yesterday morning that one of our supporters cats Hoppy was attacked by a dog & is at an ER vet, here is the latest update from his mom.... Has multiple puncture wounds, fractured pelvis ( which will require surgery ), crushing syndrome, cracked sternum. We just got a call from the vet. He has improved some today. His breathing is better, his pulse is better, his blood pressure is better, his pulse in his rear end is better, he is up grooming himself, and he gets agitated with them when they mess with him. Tonight,s plan is to ween him off the oxygen and the pain meds to see how he does. So he still is not out of the woods yet. But he has improved. So continued prayers for Hoppy!
