UPGRADING TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIANS Malawi College of Health Sciences is inviting applications from serving Nurse Midwife Technicians to attend a two year upgrading course leading to, upon successful completion, the award of a Diploma in Registered Nursing and Midwifery. The Course will be tenable at Lilongwe Campus. Sponsorship for the training will be provided through National Organisation of Nurses and Midwives of Malawi (NONM). Applicants must have a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with six credit passes. Four of the credit passes must be in English, Biology, Mathematics and Physical Science or General Science. Applicants should have a Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery or a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Technician with four years work experience. Applicants should hold current registration with Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
