UPPER HOUSE, THE RAJYA SABHA IS A LIABILITY TO NATION. END IT. Congress and all other parties that came to power in any state have abused it to foist unelectable persons to the house and sent people who ad o moral/ethical right to represent the people of the state. The worst example in history of India is Dr. Mamoan Singh sent from Assam five times. Its a way the party cheats their electorate. Now Congress wants to send Sanjay Singh as he can not win from Sultanpur or Amethi or any where in his state. The man responsible for allowing this to happen is the CM of Assam. He should not be elected again as he cheated the people of Assam in selecting wrong people or people out side of the state to the Upper House lowering the dignity of the state ad acting foul with people of Assam. CPIM did same thing when it sent Brinda Karat and Sitaram Yechuri who had nothing to do with the people of West Bengal.TMC hasnt done any better. WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA can not take this fraud any more. RS nominees must be from the state and not one of Partys choice for extraneous factor or mean considerations of party in power. The mind blowing cost of having this upper House must be curtailed as it is generally packed with less useful persons. This house was a fiefdom of Nehru-Gandhi family and continues to be so even today. This bad example has been followed by other parties too. If there are people to serve any state they must be those who are persons elected by the voters of any state. Rajya Sabha may have eminent people of wisdom and capabilities nominated by the President and Governors of States. It still has the risk of wrong people getting nominated as they too are from political party at the centre and nominated by the Centre. Best is to do away with the expensive house that played fraud with WE THE PEOPLE.
