UPSC Civil Services Exam 2014: @ #Eligibility_Criteria @ Union Public Service Commission is conducting Civil Services Examination for recruitment to various services and posts. The exam is scheduled on August 24. The willing candidates can apply online by June 30. The candidates are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to apply: #Nationality: The candidates should be the citizens of India for the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service. #Age_limit: The candidates should not aged less than 21 years and not more than 32 years as on August 1, 2014. (In case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category, the upper age limit is relaxable up to five years. In case of OBC candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable up to three years). #Educational_qualification: The candidates should possess a degree of any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. #Number_of_attempts: The candidates can apply to a maximum of six times. The candidates belonging to OBC category can apply for a total of nine times. This restriction on the number of attempts will not apply in case of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates. #RAJ
