URGENT -- 3rd request: Gretchen ~ 1 yr old unaltered female, 39 lbs Gretchen is an adorable little gal. She was very nervous when she first arrived but has since quickly won over the hearts of staff and volunteers. With little tail wags, she graciously sits for treats and takes her cookies ever so gently. Gretchen was assessed off leash with both male and female dogs and was nervous and shy but showed no concerning behavior or aggression. She can be easily overwhelmed but is already blossoming with continued socialization and started running the most adorable zoomies today! Gretchen does have some hairloss on her back and is being treated for non-contagious Demodex with a Preventic collar. Wed love to get her into rescue ASAP to continue building her confidence. Tucker ~ 2 yr old, unalt male, 53 lbs Tucker and Darling came to our shelter from inhumane conditions and neglect and cant wait to start their new lives with you! Tucker is just sweet as can be and loves attention. He can be a little bashful sometimes but perks up when he sees other dogs passing by and did very well on his dog-assessment, happy and playful. He is slightly underweight, currently eating 3x a day, and has small wounds on his back from possible self-trauma or dermatitis. Tucker is currently on antibiotics and anti-itching medication for his skin. Darling ~ 2 yrs, unaltered female, 26 lbs Less than 30 lbs, Darling is just that - darling! She is a very cute little gal, happy, sweet and ready for love. She is gentle and curious outside and did well off-leash with other dogs. Darling came to the shelter with Tucker, after they were rescued from inhumane conditions and she was completely infested with fleas, causing hairloss down her spine and back legs. She also has healing pressure sores on both front legs and is currently on antibiotics and anti-itching medication. Can you help Darling start her new life? Maine ~ 4 yr old, neutered male, 57 lbs Maine is a sweet, easy going guy. Hes described by the volunteers as chill yet curious and loves meeting new people at events. He aced his dog-assessment at the shelter and loves to play! Maine came to the shelter after his elderly owner could no longer care for him with severely dry, flaky skin and a deep ear infection. Hes since finished a course of antibiotics and his skin is improving every day! Younger children sometimes seem to make Maine uncomfortable, so we would recommend a home without kids as the best fit. Can you help find Maine the family he deserves? 3rd request - URGENT: Teddy Blue ~ 2 yr old, unalt male, 59 lbs Teddy is such a handsome boy. Young and active, he loves to spend time outside in the yard, playing with other dogs and is eager to learn. Teddy lacks basic obedience and can be very mouthy and strong first coming out of his kennel. He is responding well to correction at the shelter but needs an experienced handler and continued structure to flourish. Teddy came to our shelter due to landlord issues. He is reported to be housebroken, previously lived with children and other dogs. Can you help Teddy reach his full potential?
