URGENT- COURTESY POST! Friends please share!! I was contacted by someone who lives in my neighborhood who must rehome her dogs. This has just become urgent as the girls mother is saying the dogs will be turned in to the shelter Friday morning. Lil Girl and Fatman are both 11 months old. Spayed/neutered and current on vaccines. They have been loved by their owner but due to personal issues and now living back home, she cannot keep her dogs who she loves. Fatman is described as being a big lap dog who lives to give kisses. He is shy and nervous sometimes around other dogs but she feels would be fine with other dogs if worked with during a transition period. A great protector. He has not had much interaction with children but she thinks he would be fine. He is very loving and always wants to be by her side. Lil Girl is very very sweet. Loves all other dogs and people of all ages. Very playful. Good with commands. Both dogs are very receptive to training. These dogs are bonded but at this point this is a matter of trying to save one or both. They do not need to be rehomed together. If a rescue group can take these dogs, I will supply food for a couple of months. I will work with owner on Rehoming if someone steps up by tomorrow night. I have seen these dogs in my neighborhood being walked and they are absolutely beautiful. Tragically, they are victims here, as we see happen every day. They deserve a chance! Please please take time to share their photos. Message or call me at 702-301-8926. or call the owner, Elyse at 702-960-5220. Note- I have offered to get training, offered free food and supplies and anything else needed for owner retention. This is not up to Elyse as she is living back at home. I have tried what I can to assist this family. So, please, no attacking phone calls to Elyse. It is what it is sadly. Networking could help them. Thanks for the support!!
