How did Mackerel get the short end of the stick? At home, this pretty golden oldie loved to be petted, lived with other cats & dogs (but only had problems with one dog), has fastidious litter box & scratching post manners, & shes already spayed! But Mackerel is out of her mind with fear, so she acted defensively when she was poked & prodded with the frightening fake hand. Naturally the ACC was quick to punish her with New Hope Only & add her to the noon kill list for tomorrow. Those lucky enough to own one know that torties have wonderfully exuberant, affectionate personalities, when not being tortured by the ACC staffs fake hand. Please give this poor dear girl a second chance at a loving FOREVER home. Mackerel will calm down in no time, once shes out of the ACC hellhole.
