URGENT! BUSTER NEEDS A FOSTER BY TOMORROW! We were notified of a very special case in NC of two senior dogs needing rescue ASAP, Buster the blind boxer mix, and Buddy the husky mix. Buster and Buddys human father was an 82 year old man who was killed in a head on collision by a drunk driver about a week ago. These two have been with their dad for approximately eight years and grew up tied outside with doghouses. This is where they have been their entire lives. Now the only person they have ever known is dead and they have no one to turn to. These two darlings need rescue and they need to be loved, not end up at Animal Control where they will meet their immediate doom. Both are seniors and easy-going. They wont require a lot of exercise. Just a comfy bed and lots of love. If two dogs ever needed our help, it is these two. We need to find a foster ASAP to commit to fostering them for one month upon arrival starting in about 2-3 weeks. We can negotiate their arrival date, but we CANNOT save them without a foster commitment. Please open your hearts and homes to foster these one, or both, of these boys before they are dumped in an overcrowded shelter. This shelter has active distemper and these dogs will surely catch it and most likely not survive. This is urgent and action needs to be taken as soon as possible.
