URGENT CALL FOR ITALIAN PARTICIPANTS! Dance for Peace is a youth exchange within the framework of the Youth in Action programme. From 10th till 18th March 2014 youngsters from Macedonia, Armenia, Romania, Italy, Poland and Spain will take part in a project on peace education, non-violent communication, conflict transformation and dance. The youth exchange will take place in Puntas de Calnegre, the province of Murcia (south-eastern Spain). The exchange will help participants understand what role young people can have in their communities and in the society to create and maintain a peaceful coexistence. The theoretical part of the main topic will give the group a deep perception of the concepts of peace education and encourage participants to act through the dance. The group will work together, combining the potential and opportunities to share and learn from each other. The final result of the exchange will be a wonderful dance performance that will be shown to the local community of Lorca. During the event the young people will have the opportunity to discuss social issues facing their communities . The show will be a great tool for raising awareness and promoting youth participation in making social change. Board and lodging are covered in 100%, travel costs in 70%.
